I was this |....| close to buying some sportlines today, but I decided last minute it would probably be smarter for me to wait till I do my taxes.

Your car looks good though, RAF!

Looks really great.
By chance did you take before and after measurements to see how much actual drop you got?
Also, if you don't mind what size are your tires?

I did. I dedicated a whole thread to these springs. I've even taken pictures of my car next to a stock focus so you can see the difference. For those of you interested in the sportlines, read the whole thread. It is pic heavy and answers lots of questions.

Perfect, I can even read the tire size on the first pic.
Thanks!

I guess most of you dont have a clue what actual low is. 1.5 is pretty good considering whats avail. but as far as all the mk3's I've seen on here with coils I'm not impressed. 1552's st on air is a prime example of low. Being on air thats a given but I'd like to see a coil kit that would allow [within reason] a similar amount of static drop.
You want to see low static cars, look at some vw audi coverage of H20i

Now the "lowz" police have gotten involved... Great... There goes the neighborhood

Most of the coils available for the Mk3 will go fairly low but I don't know of anyone running them yet or in that configuration.

1.5 for lowering springs on an MK3 is a lot as they are pretty low from factory.

Coilovers and bags are a whole different ball game.
If I don't know what low is, please show me how low your car is as I'd love to find out.
Comparing a Ford Focus to a VW or Audi on coils or bags is like comparing apples to oranges. You're argument is irrelevant
