Climate Control Question 2012 SEL hatchback
Anyone know why the climate control system in my 2012 SEL hatchback with dual auto control, does not remember settings after you turn it off, let it sit for a while, such as when parked, then come back, start the car, & turn it on again? This is without using the auto setting or leaving it turned on when you park the car, leave, come back, restart the car, & turn the power button on. It does not remember the temp or blower for example. Is this normal, a design flaw, or does it need a new module?

Please relax, he is only trying to help you. As for your problem, I think my F150 has a similar control set up and it never remembers anything. I have to restart it every time I restart the truck.

Climate Control System
Shouldnt the digital climate control setting in a 2012 sel hatchback act like your tv remote at home........turn on tv power button & it should display last viewed channel & volume setting? Can anyone please give me an intelligent direct answer?
