Wheel question.

I know I have seen the 2nd gen. SES wheels peeling, and I have already had Ford replace three but the forth one is peeling and has gone to sh!t, my car is no longer under warranty, and I think Ford oughta take care of it. Do I have a valid point, or am I gonna have to buy a new wheel outa pocket?

If its out of warranty, I seriously doubt Ford will do anything about it. Were you not able to get it looked at while it was still covered under warranty?

yeah if you don't have a warranty anymore then they won't help you. what about cleaning them up and painting/ plastidip/ powdercoating them?

Id say clean them up good and paint them, if not get other(better) wheels as the others mentioned.

3 out of 4 ain't bad. Just buy a 4th somewhere. Ford did their duty and have fulfilled their warranty.

No warranty went out a while ago, and i just noticed the peeling about a week ago.

I was just hoping that since the other three were documented already Ford would be cool and help me out.

HAre they the eap svt 15 spoke 17 in wheels or the snow flakes? The snow flakes never had a problem but the other wheels are notorious for it. There are many threads on 17 in problems. I bought mine after reading of the problems others were having and spent a lot if time sealing and waxing mine to precent it. But now mine are. It must be the design sucking foreign materials in plus a thin paint job

I like to think of them as the rally wheels, but yes the are the 15 spokes.
