electrical issues

I have a 2002 focus zx5 the other day after a driving in a hard rain i parked the car for a couple of days and now i have no turn signals and no brake lights and no rear defroster but hazard lights work and headlights and tailslights work all fuses are good just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem or if anyone has any idea of what might have happen. i appriciate any responses.

I would be checking connectors that are in trunk, around engine fuse box and main harness connectors.

Also check the umbilical in the hatch area, the wiring harness for the hatch runs through this. These are know to chaff and cause problems. The rain may have just help the problem along.

I checked all the connectors at the tail lights all of them were in good shape I did however find a spit wire coming into the hatch so will try and fix it and see whats happens i am getting the right voltage for the tail lights but nothing for the brake lights or turn signal. I hope it doesnt get worse. thanks for the input.
