I'm just being a troll.
I drive a mildly modded zx3 that I sunk a lot of time and money in, but my true passion is 2 wheels

For what it's worth, 9/10 times I've raced a motorcycle in any of my cars, I've easily beaten them. The other 1/10, they gave me a run for my money. For the most part, a bike can't corner or brake as hard as a car. I drove a miata, 4 dr Integra gsr, and an is300 with only suspension/brake/tire mods against 600-1400cc motorcycles and have come out on top everytime 20+ races) and barely got eeked out by a katana 750 who REALLY wanted to be in front and was super reckless about it. Straight line races ... Well that's what the Busa is for ;-)

Believe what you want, but in my 8 years of racing and instructing, motorcycles are SLOW around a track.
Regardless, an N/A Focus with ~200 whp would be an absolute riot to drive. Having driven 1000+hp cars, nothing will ever compare to the powerband of a proper N/A setup. Boost onset and keeping the boost up requires lots of computer tricks and gratuitous use of left foot braking. For reference, going from 75whp (n/a) to 200whp (turbo) in my Miata netted me less than 2 seconds on a 1:3x course. Corner exits were a nightmare because of the power oversteer, full boost came on as the next braking zone was coming up, and overall made the car slower in the turns, but the car ate up straights like crazy. |

Turbo lag you're talking about? If it is, just put in a smaller turbo, or double turbo setup (one after the other).
If you want powerband, swap it for a diesel engine ;) jk |

I spent the first 8 years of my life running from cops on bikes/dirtbikes/rice rockets...
in a straight line a 750cc bike will murder any NA focus.. on a turn a 1000cc bike will murder a focus in a turn to a degree.... depending on setups of both.. No cop ever caught me, even on my older Honda 1982 CB750 in the early 90s why? not speed.. it was the agility.. traffic / turns it will always come down to the driver and rider in the long run. My CB1000 1989 was a beast, the nickname was "The Big One" no car ever kept up unless they were larger V8 , or a Grand National V6 turbo... with today's bikes they have even more HP there is no car worth less then 50 grand car going to beat a Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R with the right rider.. we are talking stock.. 194 mph with 162.6 bhp with near no weight to hold it back at like 550 lb unlike a focus, with 40 more HP then a focus.. 9.86 seconds @ 146 mph So give me ANY 900cc Rice Rocket and any 4 banger production car under 25 grand and I would toast it on a track with the bike.. Sticky tires and knee pads required :D to prove my point.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYpOFimB7ZA
