Modern Street bikes have valves in the exhaust to increase back pressure at low rpms. With this valve the low end torque is reduced.

I don't think I've read anyone complain about the magnaflow, other than preferance to something else, so good luck and tell us what you think

Magnaflows sound great with this engine... It's a shame they didn't go 2.5" but if you're not looking to mod everything, the 2.25" should do ya fine

I have the 2.25 as well and it will be fine for now. honestly there isn't enough mods out yet for the 2.25 to hold you back. And at the shop where I had my exhaust installed, they told me that the stock piping was 2 1/8th.

I have had the Magnaflow system on for about 3 weeks now. Overall it is not too loud. No drone at highway speeds. When you accelerate there is an RPM range that it sounds the loudest. I heard it from the outside the other day when the wife took the car to run an errand. It was not loud at all as she drove away. Sounded good. Overall I'm happy.

I got 'er done. Got the Magnaflow installed and I really do like it. Sounds good...and the car does indeed have a little more zip. Accelerates well and is just loud enough to let you know it's there.

I was planning on seeing mileage increase and initially I thought I had...but I can't keep my foot out of it long enough to say for certain.

Overall...a great addition to the car.
