Lucky I guess? 50K+ never been in the shop for repair, Focus performs perfectly.

I have not been able to tell whether Ford has come up with a permanent solution for that one. One guy (zillon) even tore into it himself trying to identify the cause, rather than waiting on Ford (dealer or corporate) to do it. I thought sure he was going to solve the mystery, but it didn't work out that way.

I have also been pretty much problem free with my 5/7/12 build date Ti HB in Sonic Blue. I did have to replace the windshield due to it being cracked from a stone kicked up be a passing SUV but other than that no issues with DCT or MFT with NAV. I have about 14,500 miles on it since picking up on 5/25/12.

Hi - First post, been lurking a while. I got my SEL in June 2011. It now has 37,000 miles. I haven't had a single glitch or problem since the day I got the car. I love it. Once in a great while I get in a situation where the DCT isn't as nimble as a true automatic and I wish it were in a different gear. But very rarely. My commute is 65 miles a day through city streets and over a mountain. The Focus has been a great performer for me. It flies up the mountain and carves the turns. Amazing. This sunday I took a 200 mile trip to see my son and got 32 mpg going 75 MPH on the Thruway. YMMV
