The governed top speed is 119mph. Sounds like they had the MyKey activated.

That's what I like about my 07. I have no performance complaints for the HP it puts out. The car cruises at 80, so that's why I was puzzled at first.

Same guy in the lifted truck tried to race me while I was riding my R6. Lots of smoke then I was to far ahead to notice much

Definitely happy with my 2012 Focus SEL hatchback. No problems and much better gas mileage than my old car that it replaced.

I have a 2012 Race Red hatchback SEL with almost 40K miles already. No issues with the DCT at all and I love the dual zone auto climate control. It works much better than a friend of mine's 2013 Honda Accord

I am 100% happy with my 2012 Focus SEL with DCT. No problems, awesome performance. The tranny is a bit odd and the controls are not intuitive, but overall its a very advanced car for the money. I haven't had a glitch or even a weird noise in 37,000 miles.

Performance? I enjoyed having more power on tap. As far as being smooth, I'll admit, it surprised me how smooth it drives, but nothing like my Lexus.

Funny how...

Funny how I have seen like 3 SELs where I live but a ton of SEs. Judging from the amount of people who have SELs on here like myself I would expect to see more Anyway I am currently not to happy with my car or Ford. The DCT is giving me big issues and Ford just has been up to this point terrible customer service wise. I guess I will see what happens after the CSM contacts me but I am not gonna get my hopes up.

When I think about it though If I HAD to buy a car in this class it would still be the Focus. Even with the terrible drivetrain it still knocks the socks of Corolla, Cruze, Sentra and the Dart in my opinion. Of course if I had a do over I wouldnt by a Ford period but thats another problem. I definitely think the Focus has the potential to be a great car but right now mine gives me nothing but headaches.

If you've monitored the Fanatic site for long you know there are some with issues and others who have practically no issues, but you get that with about any car you'd own and this one is no different.

Absolutely love my Focus, to me it's one of the sportiest cars on the road.
