The fusion was an 11, I took a small hit on it I still owed 20 and they gave me 17.5 for it, but the wife wanted a new escape and the hit was smaller on the fuse than the focus. Oh well, at least she's happy. And when she's happy, everyone in the house is happy.

I'm not sure, but I believe the FWD versions of the 13 escapes and 13 fusions use the same trans as the 10-12 fusions the 6F35. The power from the 2.0 EB is comparable to the old 3.0 v-6 from the MK1 fusions and escapes, 231 on regular unleaded for the EB and 230 for the v-6



I'm already a member of blue oval fanatics which has escape fanatics as part of it and its tied to focus fanatics. But if you know of any other good ones I'll check them out.

Yes, the Escape uses the 6F35 and while not the smoothest transmission in the world, I will take it for it's consistancy and no clutch shutter.

The torque of the 2.0 EB is what I like, no need for the trans to downshift, it's making 270 lb-ft at about 1,500 RPM, much more than the old V-6.

Yeah, the old v-6's were high winding and rev happy. The drawback of an oversquare engine is very low torque output. The 2.0 EB puts out more torque than the 3.5 in the fusion sport and edge.

My Focus S is worth $11 on a good day, so feel lucky with $16.5 man.
