You won't have to smog the car until about 2018. CA no longer does sniffers, even if you did, a little ethanol will help you pass it. As long as you're not throwing any CELs, you should be fine. Most techs don't hassle you.

Really? No more sniffer? Cool! Still dyno based?

I lived in a no smog county when I left in 2008. None of my vehicles would have passed visual or sniffer except for the brand new ones I hadn't modded yet...

Almost put some in my Whiteline yesterday before installing but didn't have time.
