well, now I'm forced to wonder, put the $2400 the insurance is giving me towards something else and sell it on craigslist or fix it.

Since I referenced this post in a newer thread I thought I'd update it, I ended up getting the used engine and trans installed and walked away with an extra $1400 cash, then listed it on CL and sold it for $4200, i ended up driving my 97 CRV for work until 1/3/2013 when I found a used 2012 Blue Candy hatch with sports package and 17k miles

I don't know why dude would lie about the selling price, but $4200 for a car with 330K miles? That's simply unbelievable. Congrats to holding onto it for that long though, it's nice to see it's possible.

they only bought it at that price because I had the receipts for the engine and trans, i could care less if anyone believes it or not, what would gain about lying? +1 to my e-penis size
