Causing the clutch to overheat and fail. This failure was the cause of the shudder & slippage.

Oh no!

The service rep (allegedly) said he told my dealer to check my bell housing through the starter to check for oil, but the dealer never actually told me if they did anything. He just said the transmission tech said "couldn't replicate" the problem.

So, I don't know if they even checked, but if I don't have oil - this could be my issue and also why the clutch slippage gets worse after extended driving if that bearing is binding and heating up!

Mine would heat up in as little as 10 highway miles, or numerous start/stop in heavy traffic. One time in the middle of Austin, Tx. on I-35 it totally slipped after a hard shudder start. I managed to finally get it rolling using the S-mode and 2nd gear. Heat was the major factor.

If I eventually need to get a replacement, is the F revision compatible with my car? Because it doesn't say superseded and when I put in my VIN, it tells me to buy a "B" revision. I don't want the dealership to put in another faulty transmission if they didn't rework all of the B revision cases...
