Fog lights on an 08 s model.

Is it possible to throw some fog lights on an 08 S model?

I'm also considering throwing a body kit on it after I get my performance mods in line, would it be easier to throw fogs on an aftermarket kit?

Yes it is,
The se Does not come with them either. I added mine. You will either need the fog light kit that comes with the harness, lamp housing, covers, and switch. Or you can do like i did and get the oem covers, light housings, and then wire the lights to an independent switch. You can get a aux light kit to wire them to a switch at your local auto store.

where would I pick up the kit, or oem covers?

No never dyno'd, as for the kits they are hard to come by and are expensive when found due to rarity. As for the light housing and covers give steve a call at tousley ford parts and he will fix you up!

No problem Dude! I remember when I first started modding mine and didn't even know where to begin. I have done a lot of experimenting with my car and tried a lot of different things so feel free to ask me anything you encounter along the way. Also I run hids in my fogs. I have thought about going with a whiter light vs my yellow hids but I feel like the yellow is much better in fog and such. Here is a shot with just my fog lights on(=

The two options that I know of have been stated but I did do a write up on the install with the Ford kit HERE. I checked at the dealership I work at and they will run you about $500 from them. I got my kit for around $200-$250 on ebay but as stated they have gone up.

Far as I can tell the kits are still being made and shouldn't be too hard to find, it's just a cost thing at this point.

Hmmm $80 total for the same fog lights just to an aux switch... or $250ish and they can only be on when your low beams are on? haha

It's cheaper, it's easier, and accomplishes the same goal, but it's not an OEM upgrade. Not trying to down play anything or anyone's ideas, just saying there are more ways to go about doing this. I personally like having my fogs run through the OEM switch, it means I get the alert beep when I leave them on by accident... Something I might add that doesn't happen on an aux switch. Just sayin...

Doesn't happen on the aux switch when the aux switch doesn't have power when the ignition is off(=
