Thanks Bryan! Yeah we will see when it comes time what I wind up doing with the turn signals. The previous owner of the bumper was actually going to fill them in and not even use them which crossed my mind as well. Anywhooo I have a question. I know this question is brought up a bajillion times, but I may as well bring it up again. What exhaust should I get?! I was planning on FSwerks Stealth. I dont care if everyone has it, I just want something that will sound good. and preferably not cost alot. Im watching my friends house so I should be getting a couple hundred id say. But I dont know what to get. I saw that the FSwerks race is cheaper than stealth (new anyways) and the stealth has a muffler which would drop the mpg...I looked at borla but the site says they dont make anything new for my car. I still dont know what to doooo. If I get the FSwerks race, what would be different about what I have now? here is what I have now. OBX 4-2-1 header, flex, piping, then resonator, more piping, tip. Wouldnt the race exhaust be the same thing? help me out here. lol

Well, you are correct about the setups, they are practically the same (yours vs race) but the race has a completely different resonator and 2.25". I can't remember if the stock exhaust is 2" all the way through, or just after the first muffler or lunchbox, or what. But the fs race will give you better airflow i imagine. And i don't know how loud it would be with your long tube header, i imagine it'll bark louder than your liking lol

Herrrm. haha As long as it sounds good, I wont mind. Liek ive said before, I normally shift at low rpms for mpg. But in winter since my mpg drops anyways, and im only driving half a mile to and from work, I punch it and play around more. when that happens, my car sounds so annoying and I feel like it makes people look for the wrong reasons. lol I think the stock is 2'' all the way through but not 100% sure. Ill probably wind up going with the race version, unless other people respond and make me change my mind.

Didn't you have a problem with your car sounding like crap once you put the header on? The race exhaust will make your car sound that way again. If you buy the stealth, you can add the race pipe for another $60. That is the only difference between the race and the stealth - that one pipe. I know a guy who is still selling brand-new borla's for $600 shipped.

Yeah i'd say go with stealth cause of this^^ They are actually pretty loud, and they sound amazing. We'd hate to see you get the race and regret it lol

Stock is actually a lttle less than 2". Don't do race cuz its loud as mentioned. Get the stealth exhaist. A local member has it and it sounds good. You don't want a loud crappy sounding exhaust on a focus cuz it sounds stupid and is pretty immature/rice. That's why people look. Just my opinion.

Yeah the race sounds good, but it's very loud. A local guy has one (okay it's on a D23, but same concept) and it screamed! I think all he had for mods were a cai and the fs race. I could hear it clear as day about 3 cars behind me while hooning to dinner from a meet lol

So, as mentioned a couple times, i'd go with the stealth, especially if you don't want it too loud, and if you were that unhappy with your stock exhaust that you needed to get a resonator. Also, it will sound alot better

Or you can go crazy and get a HKS or OBX style exhaust, but it would clash with the euro bumper

because when the lunchbox/large muffler was first removed my mpg jumped up. lol Thats why I thought that. I am probably going to do the borla as of now if its still there next week when I have the money. its cheaper....actually idk. arg. decisions. lol Either fswerks stealth or that borla.
