If there are engine modifications that are being added latter for the 15k price range, great (if you believe this, I have some ocean front property for sale in arizona). when they are announced I may change my opinion. Thats not a great marketing strategy, but they might change my mind about this waste of money.

but until that happens, all I have to base my opinion on is pictures and press releases. Not wishes and fantasies.

Sorry 15k for the cheap seats and some stickers, they should kill this before it goes into production. The only thing worthwhile on the car is the brakes and exhaust. Really put some effort in to the car not just give it some kid with photo shop to come up with a “car design”. Take the car to the track drive it make it handle better add a diff do something other than slap stickers on it.
The same parts will be available aftermarket and I’m sure you won’t need to spend 15k to get similar results.

You can't say they didn't put effort into the car. We know it's over 300hp and estimated 40mpg so they've done something that nobody else has done...

As for appearance, its nowhere near as bad as it could have been. Shelby has never been known for their taste in appearance.

Shelby is like, the Ed Hardy of automotive design.

shelbys site still shows STOCK st numbers. so as of right now, its a bunch of stickers and some ebay seat covers

all we know now is that it is 252 HP. and that they have said it will be tuned later...

sounds like they may be putting effort into a later version, but didn't do much for this one....

if they do release a 300+ hp version, that would be cool, but at what cost?

I wouldn't call it a fail because it's nice to see that companies are actually offering to modify the st. maybe they have a better deal coming along the way? maybe we are being to quick to judge? maybe this is why "we never get anything in the states"
