New Tires, Will they fit?

Hey everybody! So my friend just got a 2013 WRX but doesn't want the tires and rims because he wants 18" and they came with 17". The rims don't have the same bolt pattern and offset as my Focus obviously so he just offered me the tires. The tires are brand new Dunlop summers 225/45/17, I've been meaning to upgrade from my 2012 SE's lowly steelies and hubcaps for a while! So my question is what 17" rims will fit this tire and my 2012 Ford Focus SE? When I looked at the recommended tire size with the rims on tire rack they don't show these same tire specs so I'm a real tire noob haha Can I just buy any of these rims and they should fit? or is the tire width and height too tall or wide for my car?

Any help would be much appreciated!

You'll need a set of 17'' wheels.

Stock 17'' are 215/50-17 for the 17s, so these ones would be about the same height, just a tad wider. I don't see why they wouldn't fit.

Idk why that tire size isnt on tire rack, try discount tire. they show that size.

keep in mind 5x108 is also the same as 5x4.25
Volvos, Jags and some other ford use this bolt pattern. kind of a limited size for custom wheels.

I've ran that size for my set 17x7.5 rims when I had them on my 05 with no issues.

I've owned these Dunlop SP Sports on my Mazdaspeed3 and can say they were loud on the road compared to our stock Continentals. I've also heard they don't last very long (20-25k miles from other owners). I punctured one of mine while on the highway, 3 months after I bought the car and it costed me $250 for the replacement . However, they do have great traction and are more stiff than our Conti's, which will help you carve those corners .

yeah they are the dunlop sp sports and i must say they look nice! just going to be happy to no longer have to rock them steelies! Yeah can't wait to have a little fun in the summer whenever that comes.. *sigh* alaska.. lol
