If the car had 30,000 miles as an ex rental, give or take that's still well over 552.2 miles/ day if it was from the first of september until today.

Since they didn't give a specific date or start mileage that's really all the data I had to estimate by.

I'm guessing he meant 2011.

If he meant 2011 why would he say 2012? Either way if it was an additional year that cuts the numbers down a lot, but its still a whole hell of a lot of miles in that time frame compared to the average of 12k miles/ year.

Because 1 is right next to 2, and people don't always notice simple mistakes.

I've put 33k on mine in under 2 years...and I don't do deliveries.

Yeah, I'm at about 43k in 18 months... but 105k in 2 years? I can't even imagine driving that much...

Ok, I wasn't trying to argue that it wasn't possible, but that makes it a much more reasonable 210 miles/day which is only slightly over twice what I had been doing previously with my old car and my old internship through school. That makes more sense than the original post.

The transmission was terrible till 85K then it seemed to straighten out(go figure) at 105K it needed a rear wheel bearing and hub. Otherwise we do regular maint, 50/50 syn blend as recommended, every 5-6K. We are on its second set of tires. The car still gets 35mpg.
The car is terrible in the snow, a combo of fwd and wide tires, these cars should be awd. MJEFF

For reasons unknown, the marbles in a tin can shifting went away at 7,000 miles with a mix of city and highway. Got a rattle underneath the car but I don't think it's the trans. Shifts smoothly without all the past problems of slipping, shudder, or ill timed shifts. Weird but I'm not complaining. Had the last 12b something update about 12 months ago.
