Hi here is a pic of the key. The part # difference is because they do not have a pic of the cut key.

Or just follow decades of convention and make the key entry concave so the key naturally finds the slot to go into.

One of my only peeves with the focus.

The dealer will need a VIN to give the key code to get it cut for you as well as the programming you will need to do (you can do it if you have 2 already programmed keys) Hope that helps
Is the key "fob" portion any smaller? Can you upload a picture?

Yes- in all likelihood they will not stock that key, most dont even know its an option for the new Foci. That is the actual key part number the way it works is they need your VIN and key code (they can get the key code from your VIN) and then order the key from Rotunda* cut to your car and shipped to the dealer.

One alst question, is it any smaller than the standard fob? That is really the whole point. I am hoping it is a little thinner.

Check out:

http://www.amazingkeys.com/product/2...n-key-blank-13

You would still need to have it programmed and cut. Possibly another 60 bucks.
