Plastidip trunk badge

Anyone have experience spray dipping while on car. I found this: http://m.g35driver.com/forums/showth...274&styleid=50

It seems rather simple and because its plastidip it seems error proof.

If only I was able to peel it off from the emblem as easy as that link makes it sound lol. I kept peeling mine off of the letters as well. I tried it a couple times, then gave up. I may try it once more and just put a lot of layers down, maybe that was my issue.

Plasti dip only works well with the object layered heavily.

>Here< is a user who plasti-dipped his SVT badge. He doesn't offer info about the actual process but its a good example none-the-less.

Ok... Ok.. If your going to try 3-4 times to plasti-dip your emblems.. why not take the hour worth of work to remove, sand, prime, and paint your emblems like i did. Sure sounds like a lot of work.. but well worth it. unlike plasti-dip you can get an ultra smooth surface.. and you can then change your lettering around on the trunk if need be. Just an idea tho.

I decided it looked cleaner without so I removed the focus lettering and kept the SES badge. So fresh now I'm contemplating emblem overlays.
