7k in the engine; and it was only the trans that blew up; why fix what ain't broke!

I've hemmed & hawed over the years about what to do engine-wise, and settled on the school of thought that the Zetec's block would be better for boost... but then why did I buy a spare SVT Zetec bottom end?! Fer when I fall into some serious coin!
