Cylinder head valves
Does anyone know where i can get some upgraded stock size valves and seals to rebuild a head? See I have all the power i currently want or need and broke a valve due to water intake. The motor is just fine i just need a new head. I currently have a stock head on my car so and i have heard several times that the limits of the stock head are about 17psi. I have been running 25psi for a while. Im assuming i have just been pretty lucky with the stock valve train. So i figured while im in there and have to mess with that stuff anyways, why not go ahead and upgrade so they can handle my boost better. And before anyone tells me that i should just upgrade to better head and valves such as ported. I am currently putting down 478whp and 482 ft of tq. I really dont want any more power. So all i want to do is upgrade the stock stuff with upgraded stuff to handle my power better and that way i dont have to worry about it any more. Thanks for any help.

I dont think you need to port at all , Ford has some valves out but they were over sized , I dont know of anyone that ever made a stock one piece stainless valve
The stock valves are quite good , why mess with it ???? maybe change the springs and you can do that with the head on Tom

ok what about better seals? since i have to replace the valves anyways what about the seals and the rest of the stuff? or is the myth about the stock head only handling that kind of power just that.. a myth?

Myth because your doing it LOL
Seals you can get the Ford seal or the Fel-Pro , both work great and you wont hear that much from me on Ford seals Like stated above wouldnt hurt to do springs Tom
