1.6 TDCi Knocking -RESOLVED-
So, i have -06 1.6 TDCi and the problem is it makes pretty nasty knocking sound after 2700rpm. I changed oils and it got _ a lot_ better, but after i washed my engine today, it got back to worse again.
pre 2700rpm it runs like a baby, but after that its knocking, acceleratin or decelerating (so i dont think its "diesel knock")... what could it be? hydraulic tappets? is there what kind of cam chain tensioner or? Last edited by Carl0s; 01-23-2013 at 12:28 PM. |
