Exsodius, your last fix is just incredible ! Thanks a lot !
I did what you described on the front doors, and nothing happened. Then I gave the rear doors a real spray, and while I sprayed the locks started to kick ! Now everything works fine for the first time in 5 years ! Fantastic |

my remote central locking isnt working... well actually it will lock the passengers side dor but it immediately unlocks again, so wont lock.
If i put the key in the drivers door it will lock and unlock. if i put the key in the passenger door it locks then straigh away bounces unlocked again. is the idea of spraying wd-40 likey to work for me to or do i have a different fault?? |

This sounds like a similar syncronising problem as discussed by us in the thread. Try spraying as described. It might lube the micro switch, and give correct locking state from all locks.

Mine is a 2001 and it is the lowest hole on that model. Don't know if it is the same with 06. But ask "Bønna" he made this work on a newer mondeo too.

When using the key my central locking is working fine. But, when using the remote fob it does not. I've tried to reprogram the key but after the chime sound (which indicates that the programming mode is ON) nothing happens when I press/hold one of the fob switches. I have also tried replacing the battery and the micro switches in the fob but still the same. Then I've tried to program another fob (borrowed from my uncle, same car, same fob type) but still the same.
Any idea how to solve this issue? Central locking module is 98AG 15k600 DB, CL, RF. How to ceck if the module is OK? My car is focus 1.8tddi 1999. Thanks! |
