Well spoke with the dealership and their finished. They said they drained the oil through a strainer and didn't find any metal shavings. They used a boroscope and peeked into the oil pan and didn't see anything there either.
So they are sending me on my way and just noting it for future reference.
I asked for the filter but they tossed it in a pile and don't know which one it is anymore.

Not much else you can since they tossed the oil filter. Keep an eye on it and make sure it's noted, hell if you can get a paper copy of the notes printed out.

Next oil change, if you have a shop do it, ask them to save the oil filter for you.
