Painted wheels
Painted stock wheels has anyone tried this and how much did it cost ? I have the stock SE 16 inch wheels but they are to bright I just want to paint them black.

If you want to go the more lazy route and dont mind a more of flat looking black:
http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=268363 Plasti-dip is pretty idiot proof, just spray onto a dry clean surface and do like 5 coats. Try it out on one of your wheels, if you dont like it, it peels off. The more coats/thicker the coating, the easier it is to peal off if you should ever want to remove it. I have it on my winter wheels and it does the trick. I was just going to have it as a temporary fix last winter and then paint them properly in the spring but never got around to it. It has held up just fine all of last winter and this season so far. |
