thermostat location

hey i am wondering where the location of my thermostat is? i have a new thermostat and sensor and would like to know where its at. is it on the right side of the engine block kinda like infront and lower of the coil pack for my wires?

Just have to ask... 1,200 posts a d don't know location of thermostat? Yes if looking into the engine bay it is on the right band side. Down and towards you from the coil. The housing contains the thermostat.

The sensor is located on the back of the head. I known the SVT's location is different.

Sensor is right on top of the Housing in the SVT. It stares right at ya when your looking at the housing.

oh yeah i found out that i needed torx bits, had to go to the store today to get more coolant, realized i'm going to lose some, so i'm going to do this tomorrow. it looks a lil damp around the housing so i'm probably leaking a little but nothing large enough for me to get a new housing. i do plan on getting new screws, mine are in rough shape.
