It was 41.1 mpg on the dash display Saturday night from Jeffersonville to Columbus on cruise at 69. I did not stop and refuel to verify but the meter is pretty dead on when I compare it to gallons used. It has gotten over 43 backed up by the pump before. Don't ask me how.

The trip computer doesn't seem that accurate to me but not consistently one way or the other.

Negative % was when the Trip computer was low, and positive numbers when the trip computer was higher than the car was refueled and the mpg was calculated based on miles driven vs gallons consumed.

All but the first fill, the fill on the longest trip, and one other fill at a different local station were at the same gas station. I haven't traveled that far from home yet. Most were even at the exact same gasoline pump for extra consistency there, the numbers are still all over the map.

The best tank ever was with three people (technically four as the third weighed as much as two average passengers) plus overnight bags without the use of cruise control and locking the car into 6th gear manually when and where possible. That was all about steady state driving down to Cincinnati and back having to refuel on the outskirts of Toledo as the car suddenly said it wasn't going to make it back. It had only said 41.x at the time I stopped to fill, so it seems to more so underestimate the fuel efficiency on the highway, and overstate the mileage a bit in town, but that tends to shift back and forth depending on the driving conditions.

That is right in line with my experience too - in stop and go traffic, the computer is usually overly optimistic, but in pure highway driving it under reports mileage.

In the warmer months I get 400+ miles to a tank. Stupid winter additives they put in the fuel lowers it :(

Haha no one in Phoenix area will achieve that. I was just there and you guys race from light to light just to have to stop and start again. It's crazy. Then you get these big f250 turbo diesel pickups on lift kits and swamp tires wanting to race me in my rental mustang. I lol'd at him.

I've had low rolling resistance nokians on my last two cars. I've gotten better mileage in the winter than summer. I know essentially everyone gets worse mileage in winter. It must be the tires I think

Im consistently getting 34 mpg driving how I want on the way to work and how I have too the way home (stop and go). If you figure that with a 12 gallon tank its just over 400 mile a tank. Im loving it with a 110 mile commute everyday which I used to do in an F-150.
