Where's everyone who tried to crap on me for opening up my airbox? K&N does the same thing, charges $270, people like it[wth]

Clever marketing though. New airbox lid and open ended filter, charge $200 more the just putting the filter into your old airbox and use OE lid. I would bet a dyno of K&N lid to OE lid would be identical.

I wonder how I can get the filter only. Snorkel Delete and this filter would be virtually identical to this intake.

Not sure it's that easy. I have the E-2993 filter already. The filter in this kit has an open end unlike the stock drop-in, so it theoretically pulls more air (more surface area). Let me know if you can find the filter that comes with this kit ...
