Wow, that's a LOT of car for $21.8k (including estimated $795 destination). More powerful 184 hp engine, 6-speed manual, leather, 8.4" touchscreen, all for 2 grand less than the Ti. Wow.

if u only look at numbers u are correct, however, there is more to dollar amounts that make a car a good deal.

Much depends on the execution of the design. From what i've read the focus wins hands down in the dynamics and handling dept., for example.

The worth of a car is not only in it's cost.

It's a good looking car and a great value at that. I wouldn't trade my Focus for one though.

Yeah Focus has the handling down pat but you're right, there's more to a car than any one thing. I've read complimentary things about the Dart's handling. May not be as sharp, but it seems to be in the general ballpark of the Focus. And the 24 more hp could more than make up for the slightly duller handling, in my book anyway.

Why? This is a discussion specific to a competitor of the Mark 3 Focus and therefore (IMHO) belongs in that area.
