Anybody ever lower the front seats in the 2012 - 2013 ford focus Hatchback? If so how did you do it?

Do you mean beyond the range of either the electric motor or the mechanical lever? If so then you'd have to either modify the brackets or create new ones that are shorter and risk them failing in a crash.

I was hoping to find someone that had a good idea for a safe lowering method. I am a little on the tall side as is my wife and the headroom could use an inch or two.

Damn. I'm 6'3" and headroom is nowhere near being a problem for me. How tall are you two?

(I don't have a sunroof so that might add a little bit of headroom).

I'm 6' 10" and my wife is 6' 4". I can fit in the car fine but the passenger seat is a bit higher with no way of lowering like the drivers side.

I definitely don't hit my head, but I also feel the the passenger seat sits WAY too high.
When I sit over there when someone else is driving my car, it is kinda is awkward feeling to me. If someone came up with a simple fix that would be great.
Like somehow adapting the driver's power seat frame into the passenger side...
OR does any other higher level Focus model have a power passenger seat?

I have many other little things i need to address first, but this is something I also want to look into when time allows.

What the balls? Are you for real? Can we please get pictures of this?

I'm 6'3" and I've dated women my height, but holy Moses and Israel. Even the guys I played basketball with in college were only like 6'6"-6'8".

Also, if you're 6'10" what made you get a Focus? Economy cars wouldn't be the first sector I'd look into if I were almost Shaq-size.
