Grote DRL module 44040

Has anyone tried this drl module? It works on headlights and requires just 3 wires to install. I have found just a few reviews on various cars, but they seem positive.

You can try to get the dealership to activate the DRLs. The car is equipped. The feature just isn't activated in the US.

Yeah they just set it up in a stupid way. DRLs activated will leave your headlight icon lit up all the time, and your taillights will be on all the time too. It's essentially just driving around with your lights on all day instead of just the headlights and in some cars a specific DRL light.

Thanks for the info. I will try the dealer. If that doesn't work I'll stick with Philips or Echomaster.
