I was close to buying this a few months ago..81 K-Car wagon (this actual car)



And I know a guy around here that has an 87 Cressida wagon. Its the only one known to be in MI. Sits a little lower than this one but in rougher shape

California is the last bastion for old cars that would have otherwise rusted back to the earth in the rest of the country. Even so, I can't remember the last time I saw a Cressida wagon (or a K-car wagon!).

Always kinda wanted one of these, even though the classic Volvo "brick" shape didn't lend itself to being chopped:

It's an 86 Cavalier Z24. I'm pretty sure it was his first car and he restored it to this condition. Obviously not a daily driver. If there's anything else you want to know about it, I'm happy to ask him.
