lookin at an 09 focus

A friend of mine is lookin to buy an 09 focus, I was just curious if theres any frequent problems that this year focus has that she should check out before she buys it. It has 52k miles, carfax says it was in a minor accident with no major body damage. Idk what theyre asking for it. It's an automatic. Any input is appreciated.

for an auto i haven't heard of anything. only common issues was the clear coat on the rockers in front of the rear wheels that peeled and i believe there was a tsb for that. the mtx's has the clutch return spring break. there is a part on the doors that is commonly brocken if the panels are pulled though. it's the L shaped piece on the handle. if removed wrong the bottom clip breaks and then pops out occasionally. just an annoyance really.

Ford had a long time to work the bugs out of the Focus by the time they got to 09 - it's pretty much the same as it was in 2000.

Other than the few and far between problems listed above, occasionally motor mounts go bad. There are upgrades available, however.
