1-2 Shift Issue

I have noticed while driving the past month or so I have an issue with the 1-2 upshift. It feels like I am literally going to break the shifter lever in half. I let the clutch out get back on it and it seems to work fine. Any ideas? Maybe bleed the clutch or adjust the cables? Hopefully I am not in need of a clutch or anything drastic like that.

It's actually sorta common on foci. Mine does the exact same thing. I believe people say that Motorcraft clutch fluid makes it a bit better. Its something having to do with the cold weather though. After my car warms up, it shifts just fine.

Check under the airbox/drivers motor mount to see if a hose or wire harness is interfering with the linkage.
