FSWerks Race Exhaust
Hey Focus Fanatics! I recently bought a 2005 zx3 Hatchback! I love This car and i want it to breathe! Therefore I just ordered an FSWerks Race Exhaust.
 Im starting to wonder though if it might be too loud. My zx3 is completely stock with a 2.0l Duratec Engine. Does anyone think i might be getting calls from the neighbors whining about the noise as i cruise around? When i listened to the sound clips on the FSwerks web page it didnt seem like the race exhaust was overwhelmingly loud. Any ways i would really appreciate your opinions thank you! |

Pretty much up to you, but it does say "race" so thats got to tell you something= noise racket.

Easy enough to fix though... If you get complaints or feel its too loud for you, just order the stealth section and sell your race section. They bolt right up and are interchangeable.
Welcome to forum, also make sure you post to the correct sections. We have a nice performance section for your engine here and be sure to read all the threads at the top of that section. Lots of good info about your engine. |

not loud at all gets verry quiet at idle and cruising 75 ish on freeway great kit just wonder how loud it will get have a matching ss header to install

Well i know if you install the fswerks header the noise level boosts up to an ilegal level, it may be the same case with any other header

Are the FSWERKS exhausts in order of noise level as simple as: Stealth, Street, Race.
Stealth being the quietest and relatively silent. Race being obnoxiously loud. Is the Street the middle ground? Anyone have any experience with the Street? |
