HELP - Any 05-07 Focus owner w cruise?
Can you please open the hood of your '05-'07 focus with factory cruise and tell me where the cruise servo control wiring enters the main harness? It could be up near the headlight, inside drivers fender, under the fusebox, near the strut or engine or down below near the tranny.
I bought a used cruise module and they provided the connector with a pigtail of wire about a foot long. I'm not sure if this car has a cruise connector and wire buried somewhere because the dash harness is equipped (wired cruise-ready). PS: Your cruise servo module is an aluminum box with cable to the throttle body, mounted in front of the left strut on a bracket between the drivers side fender and the battery. sincere thanks |

My '05 ST has cruise. There is a "conduit" from the cruise servo to the large harness to the left of the battery, to the rear of the servo, and to the right of the driver side fender. There is a ground to chassis from the large harness, and a "conduit" to the battery (negative) terminal. The "conduit" from the cruise servo enters that large conduit at the same point where the conduit to the battery negative terminal exits that large harness. I will send you photos if you PM me your e-mail.

The '07 Focus S without cruise is not wired in the engine compartment. This would likely apply to '06 and may apply to '05 cars. That harness going from the servo to the dash area must be fabricated. All Duratec cars have the same setup including pre-'05 cars with optional pzev. Wiring for duratec cruise is very similar to zetec and described in other threads.
