still a ways to go

i spent most of today fitting and finishing the install of my euro rear bumper
about 3 months ago i got rear ended by a little old lady. i didnt see any visible damage so i told her just to leave. i was kinda mad and didnt wanna yell at the elderly. well guess i should of looked harder. the crash bar was bent to hell, to the point where it pushed in my spare tire well.

so i figured now would be the best time to to the install, seeing as i have all the parts.


once i got all the old stuff of, there were really only two holes per side that needed to be drilled.
since the paint was all cracked from where the sheet metal was bent, i decided that id under coat the whole back of the car.


i even did under the car and the wheel wells

heres with the new euro crash bar bolted on. then i painted everything again



the wiring wasnt that hard, the holes are already in the body so that was a no brainer
i reused part of the old crash foam. my cuts are not the straightest


now this is what it all looks like put together.i love how it dosent stick out anywhere near what the US spec did. i still need to get the exhaust cut down. dont know if i wanna keep the duals or go with a turn down. im gonna leave it this color for now. gonna save up to have the whole car repainted

thanks. theres already a stanced out zx5 in england that is that color. i like it but not enough to change my green. as for the ps issue, still working on that. still have to source one last piece.

Yeah, I've seen pics of that. I couldn't remeber where I saw that color until you mentioned it! Anyway, Grabber Green is an awesome color as well. I think it's kinda a rare color, I haven't seen any other Grabber Green Foci before.

Yeah I've only seen a few sedans in grabber green. I used to not like green but this one, with the metallic flake, has grown on me a lot. When I get it repainted, I might see if they can toss a touch more metallic to the factory paint.
