Wheel Bearing the same for SVT vs ZX3?
Looking at getting some wheel bearings but my ZX3 has been converted on the front brakes to the SVT. doe they use the same Bearings?
I am looking at the TIMKEN Part # 510056 is this the right part #??? Or i might just go with a whole replacement. and get the Timken part # HA590263K. Looking on their site it says 00-07 all motors so just wanted to double check. Thanks!

They are different knuckles. I am not sure about the bearing. Perhaps one of the other Mods can chime in here.

thanks, I know the knuckles are different (different caliper mounting for the larger rotors). But the bolt pattern is the same, the axles are the same, so I am guessing the bearing and hub assembly would be the same. but sometimes manufactures do weird stuff... all the sites don't discriminate/specify the motor so would assume that means it works on all Foci from 00 to 07? Thanks for the quick feedback!

Great. Thanks. I decided to order the hub and bearing kit. Amazon has it for only $19 more get a fresh hub and comes with the axle nut also. Figured it was a good deal. Thanks for the feed back.

sometimes the only difference in bearing is the svt ususally has abs, if your zx3 has abs you will need to order such. has a magnetic ring on bearing facing abs sensor

Nope the ZX3 does not have ABS, the sensor was in the knuckle but cut right after the plastic molding.

So to follow up. I got the bearings kit.
![]() ![]() I dont have ABS so is their a right or wrong direction to press these in? If so what direction? Red rubber seal towards wheel? Edit: looks like the black side has the ABS in it. And can check using a small paper clip. Will double check when I get home. Even though I don't have ABS want to make sure I don't want to cut corners in the event their is a reason to install them in 1 direction vs the other.
