Big ups on these knobs. Just got it tonight and installed and, Jesus, this thing is heavy. Outweighs my Twm weighted knob by a good bit, can't wait to test it out tomorrow.

I rigged my shift boot up similar but put electrical tape around the shifter first, then zip tied around. Give the zip tie something to bite into. Hasn't slid down in over 5 years.

Man this knob makes my old knob look like a marble. Really changes the feel of driving. It's big, but doesn't feel too big. And the coating looks thick. We'll see how it holds up in the years to come. When I got my Twm off and in the house the finish wore down to almost a mirror finish but stayed colored around the base. I put a lot of miles on that knob though.

Installed mine a week ago on my Steeda STS. I was a bit underwhelmed about the appearance, but function over form. Fits perfectly to the aluminum spacer from the shifter. Very heavy, just getting used to the size, quite a bit bigger than the Steeda knob I had on before. It definately works well, just fall into each gear nicely.

I guess after buying alot of aftermarket parts, most of them being a nicely machined aluminum, then pulling this out of the box, just straight powder coating. Particularly in the grey there's no real flash factor. Don't get me wrong, I was impressed with the weightyness (is that a word?) of it and it went on slick as snot. I just think if they had an emblem and/or shift pattern as an option it would just break up the single colour a bit. I'm getting used to it though and it does match the Liquid Grey of my car.

shift knob is nice, but my budget is more like half that.
