4009 watt amp. stock svt

So my cousin wants to sell me his old amp from his zx3 its a 4000 watt
Pyramid royal blue amp. Just wondering how his would work in my Svt. I'll upgrade the sub if needed. But could it work with the stock setup?

You would probably get one good pop out of the stock sub before it blew. A 4000w (doubtful that's RMS but anyways) would blow the stock sub very quickly. The stock amp is only like a 100w if I remember right. You could replace the speaker though and probably use it. The box would need a little modification to fit a different speaker in it though. Most just put another 8" in there but some put a 10", it would have to be a 10" that requires very little box space as the stock box is .5 cubic feet.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

Pyramid amps arent that great and considered pretty low quality, like sleepyboy said you'll get one good pop before you blow your sub even if you upgrade it.

I suggest selling the stock sub here and getting two 12".

ive been slapped (hypothetically) in the face by these guys about audio equipment, countless times. generally if it says 4000W...its not even close to that RMS unless it cost a fortune and weighs a ton, from my personal perspective anyways. so save your pennies dont buy it and wait to get an amp that has a good ratings for RMS and is rated in RMS not WATTS. cause honestly ive always been a fan of getting amps rated with high WATTS and never really looked at the RMS factor and been burned everytime (PYLE)
