I like it, I wanted to make color-changing lights as well. But I don't want to spend that much time on wiring. You should add 1 red led in with the blue pointed at the hot side of the HVAC, it would look soooo much better

That would be great but I don't have any red led's right now. Maybe if I get some down the road, I throw one or two in that area. I like that idea.

I still have piles of those led's left, so stop by if you'd like. It would take only about an hour or two to do that area if you only do one color; I don't know how long it will take for the rest of a conversion because I haven't done it yet.

Here's the guts of the HVAC knob area. The blue led's are flat on the back and the whites are stung around the sides. I also sprayed the face of the panel with clear coat and sanded/polished it to give it a nice glossy look to match my bezel.

Started fitting the PS fiberglass fender yesterday. It's fit like crap around the A-pillar but after a little dremeling, it's fits much better. I still need to fit it better around the door and bumper but it should be ready to start fiberglassing in the vent and paint.

Painted, sanded and polished the hatch yesterday. I decided not to shave the lock area anymore; it kept breaking out and cracking on me so I just gave up lol. It doesn't really look any better without it anyways.




Fender test fit. Still have more work to do with fitting but it's getting close and I can now open the door which is a massive improvement.

I kind of like those the vent on the fenders but I'm still planning to fill them in. I don't have any use for them so I'd rather have the clean OEM look.

So, are you trying to save weight? When you fill in the vents, I think all the weight savings might be gone.
