Not trying to thread jack an old thread, but how long do these usally last? I am at 102kmilles I know really nothing about suppesion, sadly didn't even know what strut linkage was when mine went bad -.- Also my first FWD car, does the time they last depend on how many potholes you hit and such? How do you tell if there in decent condition I don't hear a "click" see no leaks, I know mostly everything does bad around these miles.

well, mine pops/clicks...
i also have a torn cv boot, so that would help lead to it as well. I have 144k on mine. be sure to check RockAuto because i just did for my svt and they have them.. a lot cheaper than cfm as well.

So you had stock ones till 144k? So its not so possible for them to last a while okay

yeah, i got the car with 60k on it.. and i know for a fact they weren't ever replaced..
i do know the svt ones are thicker than regular focus ones though.

EMPI 802698 I ordered both of these for my SVT and had them installed about 6 months ago. So far so good, they are $65 each at Rock auto. Also, they are NEW not Reman. |
