Headlight/ wiring problem NEED HELP!!

Here is my issue with pics...


These are ford escape headlights but i can refer to the pics bc they are identical. The part that is blue in the pic above (the part where you plug in the headlight harness from the car to the headlight) basicly broke and it sank into headlight. So when i try to plug in the harness it wont connect bc the fource of pushing just makes the " blue part" sink into headlight and i cant get a connection.

My question:
What can i do to get around this problem? can i rewire something, are there parts i can use to make the connection?


This is the part attached to the actual car that plugs into the headlight that i cant connect bc the fource of plugging in pushes that other part into the housing.

actually i just thought of something, I wonder if i can buy that connector that is attached to the cars harness seperate but without the black plastic crap that protects it?

Couldnt i just use this? Plug the one connector into h4 bulb and the 3 wires into the car harness.

The extra pins are for things like running lights, blinkers, LED's and whatever else is in there.

Any of the Halogen Focus lamps will have the same plugs. The difference is how many pins are filed ... and I'm not sure where you can get pins.
If you feel ambitious, you can look through a Tyco Electronics e-catalog and you might find the correct ones. Most of the Ford connectors are in there, you just have to know what type they are, which can be very difficult.
Digi-Key is another good source for pins.

Wishing you luck with finding that part. It seems pretty rare that that would happen, so no doubt parts companies/dealers are ill-suited to assist with that.
