I have found that the Rokinon lenses come in lots of mounts and are inexpensive primes with manual focus. Very fast and sharp too. I have their 85 1.4 and its fantastic.

They offer an 8mm fisheye or a 14mm in their wide angle so maybe you can find a decent used one inexpensive

Hey guys, here are a few of photos I took at this past weekends Toys for Tots here in Houston, TX.

See the main thread for the photos: CLICKY HERE TO SEE MORE OF THE PHOTOS

Overcasted morning didn't make a very pretty sky and overblew the top of most of my shots ... but I made due.

Ray

Nice shots and angle.

That 18-55 Nikkor lens is super sharp. A hidden jewel among the Nikon Lenses.

^^ Nice shots ... I like your new direction with your photos.

For these, I do feel that first one could have benefited if you would have been a bit lower.

I think I'm developing my own style! Feels good.

I have a lower on of the first one. I liked this one better...the lower one seemed to accentuate the 4x4 stance. Lol.

Another Photo Noobie

ok guys and gals, here are a two photos I took with my newly inherited camera. As if a noob with a camera wasn't enough for ya'll I also started fiddling with photoshop... So you guys will get to see all of my work, and I welcome your critiques. I just ask you remember I am very much a noob, I got as far as I did with these pics with the help of google and trial and error. So I welcome any and all input - but if you do critique please be prepared for my onslaught of questions. lol **OH and I know the second picture with the exposed engine was taken way to close. I should have backed away from the car... lol**
