also illinipo, would this job be too complicated for a beginner mechanic like me? Im new to wiring, and really want to make my wagon manual.

Im trying to think how im gonna put everything in lol.

I have 1 month to do this job so I can get to learn

Could you put the 6-speed from an SVT in a Duratec? I'm looking at doing a manual swap in my 2009.

Id also like to know if a 6 speed Getrag from an SVT could be used in a 2003 zx3 2.0 Zetec in place of the MTX-75

What exactly do you mean by all 3 wiring harnesses? I'm getting ready to swap from 2002 Auto SPI to Zetec 5 speed. I have found a 2003 zts 5 speed as a donor car. Will I need to replace the wiring under the dash as well as the engine and transmission harness?

It's been so long, I don't even know.

I do know that the pinout for auto and manual computers is different. You can repin the auto harness to work with the manual computer instead of replacing the harness. Not sure exactly what all needs to be changed, but there are threads here and on focaljet with the various computer pinouts.

Changing the transmission harness is a given.

Maybe the third one was engine harness, but you need to do that anyway with the zetec swap.
