I like vapor silver. I have 42,000 only 5 speed SES with ABS and I too am on my original brakes. I can control my car so much better with the 5 spd. I had a 2001 focus with automatic and had to get brakes at 30k.

Yeah, visiting friends out of state. Went to Aspen 5 times(and then almost to Utah a couple times for the strip club), to Iowa more times than I can remember, Nebraska and Arkansas a couple times too.
At least most of them are highway miles. My friend has an '08 Cobalt with over 100k miles already.

109 000 km on original brakes. Love having a five speed with a steeda short throw shifter that I added threads to and cut shorter.

I'm on my stock brakes too 85,000 miles having a 5 speed saved the brakes like no ones business, coasting up to lights brakes off at the light and I think led brake lights last longer then if you have a automatic because you dont use them as much.

When was looking for replacement for my ZX2 I wanted to go with a manual like the previous two cars I had. Well trying to find one on a dealer lot that wasn't beat to heck was next to impossible. I also wanted the Sangria Red not black or blue. I have been quite happy with my auto FF it is fun to drive, just hope the trans. lasts; as I usually keep my cars until they either rust away or die.

The story on my car is that the dealership ordered it for a customer. Ford took to long with building the car so he just bought a Mustang off the lot.
The salesmen said at the time, October 2009, Ford was only doing a run of coupes when they had enough orders for them. On a whim, I stopped by the dealership and saw the car. This was in March 2010. The salesmen said that no one wanted the car because it was a 5 speed. He also said that the younger folks that actually wanted the car could not get the fincancing. I told him I had to have it because it was a 5 speed. A few hours later I was driving home in it. I don’t regret my purchase at all. It’s a fun car. Plus, as I am finding out its fairly rare.
