You can PM the code to me, post it here or just take a picture of it and post it here (might be the most helpful and won't require you to go back if other info is needed).

Ford currently lists 16 different strategies for the 2012 and 4 for the 2013 so far. These are all for the NA 2.0L. They only list the latest so there will be more that we need to support (the one image above for example is not in the current list for example.)

Well I don't have hard and fast numbers but its likely to be more than the 1-2% that some of the truly rare options were. Like the medium light stone SEL pattern cloth seats were in only 1% of the cars. Not that this affects the tuning ability of the platform.

Eh, it's rare enough to call it such. Just finding a 5 speed hatchback in Houston, I had to search through 6 dealers inventory of 20-30 cars or more each.

Sooooo all said and done, I'm guesstimating less than 10% of the cars are made as manuals, and I'd bet 25% or less of those are upoptioned with MFT, Leather, etc.

You know Im slightly disappointed that I am not at 200whp yet.... I mean how many times are we going to have to tell SCT we want tunes? If they actually plan on it GOOD. Because damn it literally took all of 30 seconds for them to get the ST going in comparison to how long we have been waiting.

Where do you get 800.00 from for a tune ????

I sell tunes now 2000 - 2011 for 399.00 and 20.00 for shipping and that comes with free tune updates as long as you stay NA , they are full custom tune done for your car with your specs I datalog and do the tuning just like sitting on a dyno the only thing is you dont have the dyno for bragging rights , 419.00 is far cry from 800.00 and well worth the money if you get the 20HP you talked about

Some of these posts crack me up. $800 for a 20hp gain would be a steal

Most "stage 1" tunes for the VW/Audi 2.0T (be it APR, Revo, Unitronic) net you about 50 hp/75 lb-ft of tq with a simple reflash. Avg. cost - $600.00.

With APR you can toggle through a stock tune profile, 91 oct, 93 oct and 100 oct tune profiles with the flick of the cruise control stalk in a matter of 30 seconds or so.

Did you not read what I posted? Let me spell this out for YOU again as it pertains to the discussion at hand; people were saying they do not want a canned off the shelf tune...fine...$350 for the Xcal, $300-350 for a custom dyno tuning session and $100 for the dyno time....add that up and what do you get? Close to $800....understand now?

No way you can do a "custom" tune unless the car is strapped onto the dyno...yes, I understand that you are taking whatever the customer's mods are and building a tune for it but that is not what a dyno tune is.

Dyno's are a very important tool in tuning a car and is not just for bragging rights, the real results are at the track.
