SVT Focus rebuilder
I hope there are some body guys on here that could answer some questions for me I have this 2003 SVT. I believe it needs a tail put on it. The car was backed into a tree with the LR. Is it a very reasonable task? Does anyone have a ballpark estimate on cost? I really want to save it. It has a lot of sentimental value to it. Any input is appreciated.

uugh, that's pretty gnarly. I would take some pics to the local body shops but it will probably cost about as much as the car is worth. I know sentimental value is always high but it may be time to just look for another one.

The car is definitely totaled. I am approved at my bank for $3000 to fix it. I was just curious if anyone on here had any input. I am gonna go talk to some builders this weekend and see what turns up.

Yeah that looks pretty bad, I'd find a cheap car with a decent body and do a body swap.

Geez. Use the 3k and find a nice shell to swap it all into. I dont think any body guy out there would even want to try it

Back to your car, yea, I agree with everyone on the fact that you should look for a replacement car/shell to put your parts into. Or put it on a downpayment on another SVT ... shouldn't be but 6-7K for a well taken care of one at a dealership. Ray

I say part that one out and use the 3k from the bank plus possibly 3k you make from parts to buy a newer svt with lower miles, and make it your new baby
