I bought an 01 focus
Alright i bought a 2001 ford focus LX. im not sure if its missing something or maybe my driving is the problem! :p well i have 2 12 inch subs in the trunk and as you know the donut tire is in the trunk so the carpet piece that covers it always slides all around. i was wondering if there was a piece missing that holds it down? i noticed there are 2 brackets just as you open the trunk that have holes where a bolt would go or something. help anyone?!?! if its not missing something maybe some how to contain the rug in one spot to prevent from sliding, but keep in mind if i get a flat tire and i need that donut to get me home i wanna be able to pull that carpet up and get home with the donut! thanks! :)

get rubber shelf liner (the stuff your mom uses in her cupboards in the kitchen). its cheap you can stick it under the trunk matt and under the sub box

If your trunk liner is moving with 2 12"s on it, it probably is your driving that is the problem.
i have 1 10" in a sealed box and have no movement issues. but I also have a bit of dynamat back there. you might want to give that a try. it solved some rattle issues I was having.
