Msd plug leads ?
On myside of the planet its impossible getting any A/M performance parts for our cars tho i managed to source a set of 8.5mm msd plug leads at a price of 750 Rands which is about 82 USD ,i have read that on the forum that the leads are the only upgrade one should do on a standard st 170 motor ,my only mods now is decat pipe and 63mm exhaust from the flexi to the tailpiece and a 100mm ram pipe from the lower grill into the stock air box with KnN panel filter , should i grab the leads ,will it have any effect on hp or driveability ,many thanks

Stay with the stock wires. There's no advantages in them.

you need to pair the wires with the MSD coil you will be able to gap at .065 inches or slightly above which allows for a hotter and more efficient burn without misfiring you can not do this with stock wires and coil.
benefits are better gas mileage some have seen up to 3mpg increase smoother through the RPM range smoother running engine |
